No- this country is not ready for a woman president.

Oh heavens no. . .

I think that she represents much of what is wrong with American politics: Placing style over substance. The difficulty with American Politics is that so many politicians are not about the issues, but about how hey present themselves--On the Republican side, you have people who appeal to moral conservatism, rather than governmental/social conservatism, and on the Democratic side, you have politicians who are focused on catering to so-called "liberal" special interest groups. Clinton represents this faction well--and i predict that we would see much of the same pasty-faced doubletalk that we saw from the Clinton/Gore administration. I sense a strong absence of resolve from that segment of the political world, and in many ways, I think that can be just as dangerous as the sort of Resolve without discernment that we see from the Bush Administration.

Not a chance in he**! While I disagree with anon #1 poster, I think the country would be going from very bad to very worse if they elected Hilary.

Pres. Bush is such a lousy president, we need someone who could heal the rift. Hilary would only make it worse. She makes me sick anytime I see her speak as a Senator, if she becomes president I am going to Canada!

Wow, those are pretty strong opinions! Who DO you want for president?

as a side note..."very worse" made me laugh... so whoever posted that... thanks!

Well, I posted the very worse comment, I am glad you got a laugh out of it. It did make me giggle as well.

As far as who I DO want for president, I have no idea. I guess I will need to see a full slate of those running to make my choice. However, I can safely say that I will not vote for someone who will just maintain the "status quo." I think a third party candidate who doesn't owe favors to the RNC or DNC would be a better choice. However, I don't think any third party candidate will stand any chance in this country.

I certainly hope that Hilary does not get the nomination, because if she does, every "good ole boy" is going to come out of the woodwork to vote against her, and that would probably mean four more years of what we currently have.

I am a moderate by definition. I agree with both the Republicans and Democrats, obviously on different issues. I always tend to vote for those I agree with most, whichever party. I have voted both ways, and third party, numerous times over the years, and I will probably continue to do so.

I can't remember the last time I voted for a democrat...I can't even begin to imagine voting for a democrat let alone HC.

Me. . .

Vote for ME.

Not a chance. Of course, it would be better than Hilary. No one would ever doubt where you stood on an issue. But, like I said, not a chance :o)

Oh. . BTW. .wasn't she already president once?

I thought it was twice, two terms '92 and '96. Aren't there two term limits?

Okay, I am being bad, and I am tired. Time for bed :o)

No.

If it were constitutional, I would vote for her husband before any other candidates I'm aware of on the democratic side. I am not afraid to cross party lines in my voting, but have this feeling that the next president will support legislation that will make it more challenging for small business owners in areas such as taxation. This is assuming the dem's gain control of the presidency.
