I suppose that it is only fair that we turn the tables, and ask the ladies a question now. So, ladies, how many pairs of shoes do you own?
By the way... the person that we really wanted to know how many ties he owned DID NOT comment on my blog. So, Mr. Brad, if you are reading this... please tell us how many ties you own?

I am a strange woman in the shoes regard. I am NOT a shoe person by any stretch of the imagination. I have my favorite pair of shoes, my tennis shoes. I have a pair of shoes for work only, I am a nurse, so comfy and sturdy are requirements.
I have three pairs of loafers, but only one pair are in wearable condition. And, I got two new pairs of shoes this week for my birthday. A cute pair of black heels and a REALLY cute pair of black heeled boots that I wore to my work Christmas part last night.
I guess that makes seven pairs with five in wearable condition and two that I wear consistently.
i have 2 closets and shoes pile the floors of both of them, i just opened one closet and counted 19 pairs (the other closet has more) so i would guess around 50 pairs. the funny thing is i just gave away about 7 pairs, i'm a bit of an obsessive shoe freak.

I don't know? I have never counted them. I tend to hang on to ties for sentimental reasons. I have the tie that I wore when I got married. I have ties that belong to both of my grandfathers and my father. When you wear ties everyday to work, I try hard to mix them up for variety. It is the most useless piece of a man's wardrobe. But, I still like vests!
I am afraid I am really a shoe person. I have at least 200 pair and can never go into a store without walking through the shoe department. But I NEVER buy shoes unless they are really on sale. a
I have about 10. I have a VERY narrow foot, so to get narrow shoes I have to buy them when they first come out. I am also cheap when it comes to shoes, SOOOO I don't have many. I do have a great pair that I got many years ago at the church rummage sale. Naturalizers, 8 narrow. IF you owned these shoes and have more in that size that you would like to get rid of, please contact me first! :)
