An Evening With Friends

Today was a great day! I was very, very, VERY busy, but I got a ton done! Tonight a lot of us went out to dinner to wish our friend and co-worker, Amy, well as she starts a new job. We had a great time- here are a few pics!
Here is Amy with our boss, and District Vice President, Dona. Amy has accepted a position at another YMCA in the area that will provide her with a lot more opportunities for management and advancement. We will miss her very much, but she is only about 30 minutes away now.

These are my friends Angela and the "other" Amy. These girls are a lot of fun to be with and talk to. We have great discussions about a lot of things, and I am encouraged by our religious discussions. Angela went to Harding, so we have lots of college stories to share since we both went to church of Christ schools, and Amy goes to the Journey, which is a church that Jason and I have talked about visiting. They are great girls!

Here is Amy again, Lindsay, and Chris. I love working with these ladies!

Amy, Amy and our waiter, who was very nice and a great server too!

Here is another shot of Dona with Michelle. Michelle is Cesar's wife (Cesar is our Associate executive.)

Anyway, we will miss Amy being with us everyday, but we know that we are all good friends, and your place of employment doesn't decide who you have relationships with!
Good luck Amy, miss you already!

Looks like someone with too much time on their hands, making snotty comments on someone's blog.

Remember the log in your own eye before you mention someone else's speck.

Hmmm...I didn't realize that having a drink negated or contradicted one's Christianity. The Bible does discourage drunkenness, normally a drink and drunkenness are not the same thing.

Of course, if a drink does make you drunk, then by all means, please abstain, but don't pass pious judgment on others because of your own personal issues.

AND. . .

it is important to note, that Jesus levied HEAVY condemnation upon the pharisees for their tendency to create religious laws where there were none.

I find it interesting that one would do the same, and then have the gall to condemn someone else.
