We have all heard the old saying, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." I thought that this was cool and wanted to share it. Here is a new way to look at an old, familiar saying:
"When life hands you lemons, GOD gives you the opportunity to make lemonade... and if you ask, HE will even provide you with the sugar."

I like it. Contrary to the "health and wealth" teaching of so many popular TV evangalists these days, the Bible makes it very clear that suffering is part of the Christian walk. Even Jesus had to learn in this manner. Why then are we so surprised when we hit speed bumps in our lives? We may be filled with the Holy Spirit; but, the problem with each of us is that we leak. Faith is a process that embraces both joy and lament. It is a constant relationship with an unseen God who offers renewal even in the toughest of times. When we learn to praise God in all circumstances and trust in His grace, we discover the rock of ages upon which one can build his or her foundation.
