There is much rejoicing in Ladue tonight. For the first time in 6 years, the Ladue School District will be closed tomorrow due to weather conditions! I personally know 2 girls who are pretty excited!

My son would be jealous. Having grown up in the south he was used to having school cancelled with just a dusting of snow or the hint of ice. We lived in St. Louis from 2001 to 2004 and school was NEVER cancelled no matter how much it snowed. That was a shock to his system!!!
When we went to Webster Groves High School they NEVER cancelled school because of snow. Of course back then, we all walked through it barefoot......
